Some of 2025's fungicide trials showed minimal ROI while others, even those with multiple applications, paid big dividends. We will break down the factors of the disease triangle and how environmental elements in the field correlate to them. Having a clear understanding of how those components interact can help growers make more profitable decisions regarding disease management.

As growers try to strive for high soybean yields, we need to take a step back and make sure we understand the Yield Components that drive yield.  Plant Yield is divided into three main components: Total number of pods, number of beans per pod, and seed size or weight per bean.  We will discuss management practices to improve pod numbers and seed size to improve yields.
