Cristiane Lourenço serves as the Global Sustainability Director for Vegetable Seeds within Bayer's Crop Science division, where she steers the company's sustainability and regenerative agriculture efforts for the Vegetables by Bayer platform. Her role involves devising and implementing sustainability strategies that span the entire business spectrum of the renowned Seminis and De Ruiter brands.

Beyond her responsibilities at Bayer, Cristiane is an active member of The Sustainability Council at the International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA) and the Environment and Social Responsibility group at the International Seed Federation (ISF). In this capacity, she plays a pivotal role in guiding the industry towards the integration of sustainable and regenerative practices by promoting the exchange of sustainable business models, strategies, methods, and key information throughout the supply chain.

Her rich career prior to Bayer includes impactful tenures in Sustainability and Innovation at Unilever, as well as in the renewable energy sector. As an executive, Cristiane possesses extensive experience in leading sustainability strategies on both a global scale and within specific regions and countries, including Asia, Noth America, Africa, Europe, and Latin America.

Cristiane holds a degree in Public Relations from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) and has honed her expertise with a Certificate in Sustainable Business from the University of Cambridge.
