Hosted by Conservation Steward Olivia Fuller:
Olivia Fuller is a next-generation farmer stewarding her fourth- generation family farm, Fuller Acres, located in the Welch Hollow valley of Fort Ann, New York. Raised on a dairy farm, Olivia struggled to see how she could return to the farm and have a profitable farm business. As the only heir and last chance for her family’s farm to continue as her dad neared retirement, Olivia and partner Thomas Hughes found a way to transition the farm so that it worked for their generation and suited their skills, while working in partnership with the senior generation. Now, they focus on rotational grazing, stewarding their land and resources and selling beef, pork, and maple syrup direct to consumer.
