David Dudley is a California native who grew up in a small farming town, surrounded by agriculture, which lead to his passion for fresh produce. Upon receiving a degree in Agribusiness from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, David immediately moved to Salinas to work for Markon Cooperative as a Product Manager. After almost four years in Salinas, he made the jump to retail, moving back to his hometown and taking a Category Management job with The Save Mart Companies. While at Save Mart, David held the positions of Sr. Category Manager as well as Interim Director of Produce. Six years later, he got out of retail and went to work for the California Table Grape Commission as a Director of Marketing. His tenure there was cut short when he received a call from Sprouts about an opening on their growing team, followed by an offer which he accepted. David has been with Sprouts since May of 2020, as a Sr. Category Manager currently overseeing the Grapes, Melons, and Tropical Fruit categories. David still lives in California with his wife Jessica and there three kids Reed, Keegan, and Milania.
