Jennifer is the brand leader and editor of Farm Journal’s PORK. An award-winning writer and creative leader, she’s passionate about communicating science and innovation to help pork producers succeed in an ever-changing marketplace. She spent nearly 10 years in the purebred swine industry, creating a national youth swine association to help connect young people to a future in the pork industry. She then took on a new role as a science writer at the University of Illinois, covering animal sciences and crop sciences before becoming the director of communications and marketing for the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences. Jennifer is a graduate of Kansas State University with degrees in animal science and agricultural journalism. She enjoys attending
swine shows throughout the Midwest with her family.
