Paulo Emilio Lesskiu earned his DVM from the Federal University of Parana (2004) and, a Master's Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2012) with an emphasis on Animal Reproduction. Also, he received MBA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (2016) in Brazil, an MBA in Management (2022) from FAE - Business and Economy College (Brazil), and Baldwin Wallace University in Ohio (USA).
Dr. Lesskiu brings in his background with 18 years of experience in the system of production from BRF. In his work life, he has experience as a veterinary practitioner, production manager of the sow farms, internal consultant to the reproduction areas (boar studs, multiplier system, and sow farms), and, agricultural manager (swine and poultry areas).
In the last 4 years, Dr. Lesskiu has been working as an industrial manager focus on swine and poultry processing plants. From 2020, he is the general manager of one biggest BRF´s Business Unity in Lajeado, the Rio Grande do Sul State.
