Ben Rand is a Crop Insurance agent with The Home Agency, a division of FNIC, and based out of the home office in Elwood NE. Rand has been an insurance agent since he separated from the Department of Defense in 2014, where he served in the Military Intelligence Corps. As a member of the Military Intelligence Corps Association, Rand was published regarding Combating Piracy on the HOA and was awarded the Knowlton Award for his work. He is a certified linguist, speaking Arabic, Dari, and Farsi. In addition to insurance services, he a is Commodity Broker and Branch Manager, holding a Series 3 and Series 30 for Blue Line Futures and is the principal of Blue Line Ag Hedge. He sells or services federal crop insurance and private market products in over 20 states, to include but not limited to Multi-Peril Crop Insurance, Crop Hail, Annual Forage, Livestock Risk Protection, and Pasture Rangeland and Forage.
