Speaker Bio
Jolie is the Executive Director of Shelby County Cares (SCC), a nonprofit dedicated to suicide prevention and promoting the holistic well-being of farm families in northeast Missouri.

Born and raised on a Century Farm in the heart of Ray County, Missouri, Jolie Foreman grew up with a deep appreciation for the land, faith, and community that sustain rural life. After earning her Bachelor’s in Business Administration, she spent 11 years with John Deere as an Accounts Manager, working closely with farm families and ag businesses across the region. Jolie later moved to Northeast Missouri, where her husband joined his family’s cattle and row-crop operation, continuing a legacy on a Century Farm first established in 1876. Inspired by both her roots and her rural surroundings, she went on to serve eight years as a victim advocate in the prosecutor’s office, supporting individuals and families through some of life’s hardest seasons.

Today, Jolie leads the SCC team in providing outreach and education to farm families to ensure they have access to the resources, understanding, and hope they deserve. Through small acts of caring and neighborliness, the team strives to rebuild the sense of community and mutual care that has defined our rural communities for decades.
