Speaker Bio
Kenny grew up in Nicholasville, KY where his family produced tobacco and raised cattle and sheep. He received his B.S. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Kentucky in December of 1999 and began working in Extension. He completed his graduate degrees in 2003 and 2011 and is currently an Extension Professor of Livestock Economics. Kenny focuses his extension programming in the areas of livestock marketing, price risk management, and general profitability. He also partners with two colleagues to publish Cattle Market Notes Weekly and teaches an undergraduate Livestock Economics class on campus each fall.
