Tricia Bentley-Beal is Chief Executive Officer of Farm Journal Foundation. In this role, she is responsible for advancing the organization's mission of sustaining agriculture’s ability to meet the vital needs of a growing population through agriculture. Tricia works to extend organizational capacity, grow the global partnership portfolio, and focus the Foundation's programs on an issues portfolio including climate adaptation and conservation, global food and nutrition security, agriculture R&D, and rural economic development.
Tricia has experience working with global to mid-sized companies, public, private, and foreign-owned businesses. She has worked across diverse organizations, setting strategies that achieve financial objectives and operational goals that result in exceptional shareholder returns, industry innovation, and pathways for shared value that establish sustained, impact-generating frameworks.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Tricia served as a member of the of the Executive Leadership Team at Novus International, Inc., where she had responsibility for a variety of organizational functions including Global Communications, Sustainability, Global Human Resources, Crisis Management, and International Partnerships. During this time, Tricia led cross-functional teams across five continents.
Tricia has served as a board member and in leadership roles for many mission-based organizations, including Agriculture Council of America, World Agricultural Forum, International Agribusiness Management Association, Arts and Education Council, St. Louis Shakespeare Festival, Central Christian School, and Lafayette Park United Methodist Church.
She has completed a number of leadership program, including Agriculture Leaders of Tomorrow (Missouri/China) and FOCUS. Tricia’s educational background includes: William Wood University (Business Management and Art History), University of Missouri Bloch School of Business (International Business), and Harvard University (Agribusiness Program/Shanghai, China). Tricia currently lives in St. Louis, Missouri, with her husband and two daughters.
