Sam leads the north American research into the Farm Inputs sectors for RaboResearch, a department within Rabobank. In this role, he primarily focusses on the seed, chemistry and fertilizer industries, as well as the broader issues in production agriculture. Prior to Joining Rabobank, Sam worked on the sell side, covering equities across a broader length of the agricultural value chain. Sam comes from a multi-generational agricultural family from Europe, growing up primarily around broiler productions. Before moving to the US, Sam worked on the integration of renewable energy into agricultural systems. He holds degrees from Imperial College London, European Business School and Manchester University, as well as having been in the British Army.
