Wesley Tucker is a field specialist in ag business and policy for University of Missouri Extension. He specializes in farm labor management, estate and succession planning, farm income tax management, livestock marketing and production economics. He graduated from the University of Missouri with two degrees in agricultural economics and worked in both the livestock and crop industries before returning to the university to begin his career with MU Extension. A southwest Missouri native, Wesley grew up on the family beef operation where he continues to farm with his family today. He and his wife, Heather, a local veterinarian, and their daughter, Jordan, operate a cow-calf operation in Buffalo, Mo. As an MU Extension specialist, Wesley’s primary goal is helping producers become better managers and improve the profitability of their farming operations.
