Kurt Downs grew up on a farm in East Central Illinois, where he was involved with his family’s grain operation. He attending the University of Illinois, where he received his degree in Agricultural Finance. Shortly after graduation in 2002, Kurt started his banking career with Sauk Valley Bank in Sterling, IL, where he was a credit analyst for 4 years, before taking on a lending/relationship management roll them. In 2017, Kurt joined Rabo AgriFinance as a Senior Relationship Manager for the Norther Illinois territory. Kurt is responsible for both portfolio management and business development throughout the area.
