Robert brings 38 years of experience across the retail and wholesale grocery industry, with extensive expertise in produce, floral, and perishable operations.
Most recently, Robert served as Vice President of Produce, Floral, and Bulk/Spice Foods at Vallarta Supermarkets. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership roles with Gelson’s Supermarkets and Gerrity’s Supermarkets & Valley Farm Market, as well as key positions with El Rio Grande Latin Markets, La Montañita Co-op, Sprouts Farmers Market, Stop & Shop, and Bozzuto’s Inc. His experience spans a wide range of retail formats and multicultural merchandising environments, giving him a well-rounded perspective on fresh food operations and retail strategy.
Robert studied Business Administration and Retail Operations at Western Connecticut State University and holds a Class D Horticulture License. He also served in the U.S. Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps.
