Gina Widjaja is the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications at the Hass Avocado Board (HAB), where she leads their communications strategy designed to strengthen demand for Hass avocados and advance HAB’s vision of making avocados America’s preferred healthy food for every meal. Her work focuses on engaging health professionals and health- and nutrition-minded consumers with science-based nutrition communications that build understanding of avocados' health benefits, helping HAB fulfill its role as the only avocado organization that equips the entire global industry for success.

With over 25 years of marketing and communications leadership, including 20 years in the fresh produce industry, Gina brings expertise in strategic communications and integrated marketing. Prior to joining the Hass Avocado Board, she led advertising and public relations at Sunkist Growers, helping modernize and reposition one of America’s most iconic agricultural brands. Her international experience and multicultural perspective bring a global lens to her work advancing the avocado industry.
