Percy Muente has been CEO of Cerro Prieto since January 2024, one of Peru’s leading agro-industrial companies, with annual revenues exceeding US$250 million and exports of more than 65,000 tons of fresh produce.
He has a proven track record of leadership across diverse industries, including serving as CEO of Sudamericana de Fibras, the only industrial acrylic fiber manufacturer in South America, and Agroindustrial Paramonga, a 10,000-hectare sugarcane operation in Peru. He has also held senior leadership roles as General Manager of Kimberly-Clark in Colombia and Bolivia.
Percy is a Fulbright Scholar and holds an MBA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University (USA), where he graduated with highest academic honors, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru.
