Founding partner and creator of Cabilfrut S.A. in 1989. The company was established to develop the production and commercialization of avocados, primarily the Hass variety, for both the Chilean domestic market and the expansion into new export markets.

As Chairman of the Board, he carries out executive responsibilities across all areas of the company, dedicating most of his time to the commercial side of the business.

He has been involved in the development of the avocado industry since its early stages in exports. He was a founding partner and director of Comité de Paltas de Chile, now known as 'Paltas de Chile,' where he held multiple responsibilities, particularly in opening and developing new markets in Europe, Latin America, and other regions.

He has also served as a founding member and director of organizations such as the Chilean Avocado Importers Association (CAIA.) in the United States, as well as the Avocado Marketing and Promotion Group (AMAPG) in Europe, which includes most of the producing countries supplying the European market. Today, it operates as the World Avocado Organization (WAO).

His more than 37 years of dedicated work in the avocado industry have allowed him to develop extensive and deep experience in the field.
