Eric IMBERT is an agro-economics and food technologies engineer. He has more than 30 years’ experience in fruit markets, initially in the commercial domain, and then in research. He is a manager of the CIRAD Market News Service, a research team specialised in the field of the international fruit trade. His work is focused on the citrus and avocado industries, and on the European market. He is involved in various international expert groups specialising in these products such as the World Avocado Organisation, the world citrus organisation, the Hass avocado board and the citrus trade expert group of the European Commission. He is in charge of several publications aimed at professionals in these industries: FRUITROP weekly bulletins, FRUITROP Focus and FRUITROP magazine. He is the Publishing Director of these reviews.
