Aaron Derwingson is the Water Projects Director for The Nature Conservancy’s Colorado River Program where he works in partnership with water users on pragmatic, solution-oriented approaches to meeting water needs for people and nature. Aaron works with agricultural water users, municipalities, and industry throughout the Colorado River Basin to develop and implement innovative approaches to water management to improve the health of the rivers and streams we all rely on.

Aaron holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Colorado and a Master’s in Community and Regional Planning from the University of Oregon
