Daniel Vander Dussen is the owner and operator of Rajen Dairy in Clovis, New Mexico, where he manages a 7,000-cow herd and raises all his own replacement heifers. Born and raised on his family’s dairy, Daniel returned home after earning his degree in Agricultural Business and Economics from New Mexico State University to continue the family legacy. Over the years, he has expanded the operation to include a successful beef-on-dairy program and is recognized among Select Milk Producers’ top producers for milk quality in 2025. A graduate of Leadership New Mexico, Daniel also serves as Chairman of Ag 50 of Clovis and contributes to numerous Select Milk Producers committees. He farms alongside his wife, Tara, and their two daughters, proudly representing the next generation of New Mexico dairy producers.
