Chip Nellinger is the President and a Risk Management Consultant at Blue Reef Agri-Marketing, bringing over three decades of expertise in commodity brokerage and crop insurance. Raised on a grain and livestock farm in North Central Illinois, Chip’s agricultural roots run deep. He earned his B.S. in Economics from Northern Illinois University and spent four years on the floor of the CBOT specializing in international commercial grain hedging. A licensed Commodity Broker for 30 years and a Crop Insurance Agent for 21, Chip has dedicated his career to helping top producers navigate market volatility.

He is also a respected commodity analyst featured on US Farm Report, Ag Day, RFD-TV, and WILL & WNAX radio. A 20-year cancer survivor, Chip is a proud father to three grown sons—Sam, Jake, and Chase—and a grandfather to Kodi and Waylon.
