Lucas Sjostrom is managing director of Minnesota Milk Producers Association with the Edge Dairy Farmer Cooperative. Prior to that, Lucas served as an industry relations director for the Midwest Dairy Association for six years, and previously with Dairy Herd Management and Hoard’s Dairyman magazines. He holds a master’s and Bachelor of Science degree in animal science from the University of Minnesota, where he also gained a policy fellowship. Lucas also is a partner in two family businesses with his wife and parents-in-law, Jer-Lindy Farms and Redhead Creamery. Lucas and wife, Alise, have three young children.
