In 1979, Jim took a job washing pots and pans to pay his way through college. At that time, he could not have imagined it would lead to a lifelong career in the food industry.
45 years later, Jim has worked throughout the country in many segments of the food industry, from working in kitchens, vendor sales leadership, brokering, representing manufacturers, and 20+ years of leading distribution.
He has worked for industry leaders such as Sysco, Carnation, Smucker’s, Sugar Foods, US Foods, and PFG. Jim is a family man, a food man, and loves travel, exercise, golf, and God.
Recently, Jim brought his decades of food knowledge and leadership experience to the role of Executive VP of Sales and Marketing for FRESH ORIGINS; the country’s leading grower and supplier of over 500 flavorful ingredients like Microgreens, Edible Flowers, and Specialty produce items.
