Joe Barsi is the president of California Giant Berry Farms and leads the day-to-day operations of the family-owned fresh berry grower-shipper and marketer. Before rejoining the company in 2018, Barsi held the position of vice president of business development for California Giant from 2005 to 2012, where he led the development of and sourcing strategy for international and domestic supply of the company’s fresh berries. With over 27 years of fresh produce experience, Joe’s other leadership roles have included president of EnzaFruit Products Inc. (T&G Global), president of Tradin Organics, U.S.A., and general manager of produce operations for C.H. Robinson Worldwide Inc. Western U.S. Joe earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural business from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and has an MBA from Santa Clara University.
